That is what OMCL stands for, and it is how the studio began: one engineer in 2019, deciding to move faster and build more. Seven years on, we design and build apps, web platforms and AI products for founders, from Bengaluru.

Four letters, one minute.

OMCL is short for One Minute Can Change Life. The name came from Abhinav's father, and it has been the brief ever since: most of what matters in a product is decided in about a minute.

Started by one engineer who wanted to move faster.

Abhinav Sharma started OMCL in 2019 with one aim: move fast, do more, and make a bigger difference with software. A studio was the shortest line between a good idea and a shipped product.

Before and alongside OMCL, Abhinav shipped for startups including BazaarNXT and Pepper Content. That is where the studio's habits come from: small teams, weekly releases, and talking directly to the people who write the code.

By 2026 OMCL is a small, senior team across product design, frontend, backend and AI, working from Bengaluru with founders in India, Europe and the United States. We still build products of our own, Kharch and decent.cv, because it is the best way to remember what done means.
